Clean out the entire bottom of your lantern Use a butter knife to remove excess wax or wick stands. Place lantern refill in the center of your lantern Light all four wicks for about 15-20 minutes The wax will run, filling in the sides of the lantern,surrounding the refill Blow out wicks and let cool (approx. 5 - 10 mins.) Once cooled, light 1 or 2 wicks Alternating wicks with each burning session Enjoy your Paint Can Lantern
